Flight times (typical, by region)
- From East Asia (Japan/Korea/Singapore): 2–5 hours
- From South Asia (India): 3–6 hours
- From the Middle East / East Africa: 6–10 hours
- From Europe / West Africa: 10–14 hours
- From the Americas / Australia: 12–20+ hours (often one stop)
Tip: One-stop flights are common and usually the best value from Europe, the Americas, and Australia.
From airport to hospital
- Airport express / metro: many cities have a fast, cheap line to the city center.
- Taxi / ride-hailing (DiDi): reliable and reasonably priced; use an English app or ask your hotel to book.
